Photographs were made, during my stay in Kosovo, just before and after independence day, are my personal diary which I led visiting Kosovo. Kosovo has for several years, especially after the unilateral declaration of independence, a very topical issue and a powerful political weapon in Serbia, while very little is known about the real life of Serbs in Kosovo, and even less to the Albanians. The motive of my going to Kosovo is the desire to personally talk to people who live there and try to objectively and without prejudice that I had, and reflect the real situation prevailing relations between Albanians and Serbs and in the end they try to objectively convey your thoughts to people in Serbia. There I met with the Serbian and Albanian photographer living and working in Kosovo and that helped me to build one's own picture of the current situation in Kosovo. These photos are only a fraction of the overall picture of the tragic confrontation of two completely different reality in Kosovo. Albanian and Serbian, reality has been co-exist but do not recognize each other. The worst that I realized it, that this our so-called Balkan problem just one of the front pages of a story, and the battle that has long runs between East and West. Battles of us has enormous significance for them is just another round in the lottery. But most importantly I learned that not all that bad as they transmit the media, but the conclusion is that it is currently difficult to be a Serb in Kosovo. more>>
